
On November 7, 1885, the last spike of the New Canadian Pacific Railroad was driven in by Donald Smith at Raigellachie, British Columbia. It was Canada’s first Transcontinental Railroad! And one of our most important moments! Many feel that it is Canada’s most important nation-building project. It linked the East to the West!
